Experienced Line Cook

Full Time | 30-40 Hours Per Week

Job Description

Greenleaf, located in downtown Milford, NH, is hiring Experienced Line Cooks to join our Culinary Team. We are looking for a professional line cooks to assist in the preparation and execution of the New American Farm to Table Cuisine that the restaurant is known and loved for. You will have the opportunity to work with farm fresh local products and be introduced to new cooking and plating techniques that will help you learn and grow in the industry. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the chefs with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our enhanced customer dining experience.

 

Responsibilities

Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies

Prepare food for service

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Answer, report and follow chef’s instructions

Clean up station and take care of leftover food

Stock inventory appropriately

Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers


Skills

Proven cooking experience

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, plate presentation, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Familiar with industry’s best practices

Higher End Dining experience preferred

Must be organized and communicate well with other team members to insure all dishes are ready for the table at the same time.
